The city of brotherly love......

We went to Philadelphia for a long weekend. We were there for a family reunion, however we squeezed in some sight seeing.

What a crazy mascot!

I love old city graphics......

This was on the side of a church in an alley.

The next few pictures are from a stop in Anthropologie in downtown Philly. I was in more awe of the building than what was inside I must say.

( can you believe this was in a store!)

Love this chair!

I am not sure what the story is on this tree. It is an actual needlepoint sleeve around the tree. There was also one around a bike rack???? It was interesting.

Fireworks after Dinner!

A view from our pool.
We are dragging a bit today...... however we have no time to waste, we have a day of cleaning , creating ,swimming and whatever else the day brings.
Talk to you soon,
Courtney

About your post on "The city of brotherly love"...
the tree in quiestion?

You have to check out the book "Yarn Bombing"!!! You could get it at your local library, bookstore or Amazon. It's a lot of FuN!

Will also explain the tree mystery ;)
