New things.....

I have so much to tell you.

1. I am working on some little collage birds for Christmas

ornament. Below are just a few.... they still need their feet

and hangers , so use your imagination.

2.I made them all from recycled materials! I am also teaching a studio class on

how to make these , in December .

3. I really wanted to get back to my roots ( see the connection !! Ha Ha ! ),

and do more dimensional work. I love these roots !

4. This is a work in progress. I have another big tree piece as well.

5.I have an upcoming art event on November 6th. My little city is having their 1st gallery walk , and I am going to have some original pieces and some photography to share.

6. I am also doing a workshop with the woman to woman center. It is a great

mentoring program for young women wanting to make a

positive difference in their life.

Sunday around town....

Daddy headed off to the Redskins game.... so the boys and I had fun around town. We all set out with our camara for some interesting pics around town.

We finished our day with some Rita's Italian ice and a trip to the used bookstore

..... a perfect time!
