I love the colors in this one.

I am making another smaller one that is similar.

This is a larger version of the one I did in the last post.

A bit abstract. I used a lot of fabric for this one.

I am in serious denial that it is November

and Thanksgiving is just around

the corner.

This is usually my favorite of all Holidays.

I just can not keep up with time these days.

Growing up

Both of my boys are growing up soooo fast.

They were just little guys a minute ago.......

and look at them now!

Along with growing up , they are learning about how

life has other plans for us.

My youngest had to deal with a major disappointment in his life.

It is so hard to see their little hearts get broken.

I hate it , yet at the same time , I know it will make them strong.

My job is not to prevent it from getting broken,

just to make sure I gather the pieces and help

them put it back together.

I plan to get a rather large jar of super strong glue....

I know I will need it in the coming years,

for theirs and mine!

New things

I have a few new things to show you.

I love this piece, although some think

it needs something..... but that is

why I like it.

I have more projects in the works.

I am going to make an effort to post

more frequently.... life has a funny way

of taking time from us!!

Loving the fall weather that is headed our way.

I will be spending my weekend at a few baseball fields.

A lucky 13 years and counting!

My roots are in sculpture.

I have recently been trying to dive back into

assemblage pieces.

This one I did a few years ago.

This is an oldie but goodie as well.

I'm back!!!

Actually, I have been back for awhile..... however the craziness is

starting to settle down.

The kids are back in school, and I am back in school.

The routine of packing lunches, getting to school before the bell rings,

remembering to put on clean socks ( my boys! )

it is all coming back to us.

Although I hate to say good bye to summer.

We are entering my favorite season.

It has the smell of a new start.

I have lots of fun ideas ahead

so stayed tuned.
