I can not get enough!

I am in love with vintage gas station numbers. Why? I have not a clue, I just love them, and the one below is mine!!!! I found it on the etsy store Fierce Whimsy .

Have you ever seen the show " American Pickers" on the History channel? If not and you love vintage things as much as I do..... it is a must. It comes on Monday night @ 9:00. I looove it!!

A quiet morning........

We got to sleep in a tiny bit..... the best part was staying in PJ's until after 10:00. One went to early baseball practice so it was just me and the young one. I will not say little because he is just as big as his brother 2 1/2 yrs. older. He broke out the Buzz lightyear and played happily for at least an hour.


My only dilemma ...... Buzz was the next toy on the chopping block as far as our purge and clean goes. I guess I need to re-think it???

I am not sure if this piece is done or not..... I need to see what more it needs.

Still haven't found what I'm looking for......

Sound familiar..... yes I know it is not original. U2 did it first, however I really have not found it yet. What ? Well it is a classic wrap skirt. I love wearing skirts in the summer. Do they not make these anymore???

The above is courtesy of Spool . It was handmade of course. Now I can sew a little, however I really would prefer to buy one. They seem pretty easy to make , but I just do not have the time. I will continue my search, and if my hands have come up empty....... I will break out the machine. I just can not guarantee that it would last through the first wash!!!

One of my favorite places......

There is a place where I live that has the most incredable finds. It is only open one weekend every month..... and I go to every one of them. They change the entire decor around each time to keep things fresh. It is a huge barn that is filled to the brim with both vintage , salvage and new cottage chic items. If you are in Maryland and want to check it out it is well worth the visit.
