Friday ..... Hooooray!!!!

Well it is Friday!!!! I hope to get some creative time in this evening. I have been waking up early and doing chores, I make sure the dishes are done and beds and rooms picked up before we leave for school so that I do not get that freaked out panic feeling when I come home . So far so good!

I will have the above and two others posted hopefully tomorrow ( or later tonight) . My pics are not great because it is rainy out.

Look what I just got........

I just did a trade with Paddyridge on etsy. Go check out her site. I love these little bowling pins!!!

I have just taken a long term sub assignment in my kids school ( I might have mentioned it in an earlier post!! ) . Anyway this week has been a bit crazy. I have 4 things to post in my shop and I am crossing my fingers that it will happen on Friday.

I just need to finish the edges on these and put them in my shop ( Sunday night -late or Monday ). Imagine the two pictures smoooshed together and there you have it. I am going to see if I can get a larger scanner........

Finding the light......

It was a nice late afternoon..... the kind that gives you hope for spring. The sun not yet warm but welcomed none the less. Here is where I found the light.

Lots of stuff.....

Well, today I was very productive. I love these kinds of days. I can cross off that list that keeps clogging my brain and move on!


I am finding places for my beloved letters all over my house.

A nice even number in a cool color ( although you could call it a warm blue!)

I am not sure why I am so attached to rust and age and layers. I love the connection to other times perhaps. I always feel a bit out of touch with what is current...... age makes me feel comfortable. Hmmmm, I wonder what I will think of that statement in a few months when I turn 40!!!!

Remember this? I still need to finish the edges, but it will be done this weekend. I am not sure what I am doing with this yet...... I will keep you posted.

On another topic, I am doing a custom collage for a great gal Emily who happens to make the loveliest jewelry. We are actually doing an exchange . I am so crazy about the idea of doing artist trades. Emily also owns Vix Emporium in West Philly. So if you are in the area , check them out!

Another find.....

I love searching etsy for my little treasures. I found this little globe at oldohiofarmfinds . I was going to go and buy it, however someone else snatched it up!!

I have not shown much of my art ....... I have been super busy. I just took a long term sub position at my kids school. I keep telling myself that it is only 3 .5 months and everything will be o.k. . I have to get in gear and get myself organized. Anyway, I am working on 2 collages right now and hopefully I will be done by the weekend.
